Getting Started

The KreaTV IP-STB software package includes a number of sample portals for you to study. These demonstrate basic interaction with the platform services and can act as useful tools when debugging your setup. It is strongly recommended that you study these carefully. The sample portals are found in the SDK, in the <sdk_root>/examples/ directory.

The start URL that the portal application opens when it is initially launched needs to be defined in CFG_PORTAL_STARTURL. These configuration objects is sent from your Infocast server. See here for more information regarding configuration and setup.

Quick Tip! A quick way to load/reload your portals is to ssh into the IP-STB and run the following command (change the URL to use your webservers IP address, and the path to the portal you wish to load):
