Change multicast address for the metadata channelOn the metadata channel the following information is sent:
The metadata channel uses a multicast address, which can be changed by using a DHCP option. An example of the metadata channel configuration is shown in the Infocast server example. It is also important to change the Infocast client configuration, so that the IP-STB will listen to the new metadata channel. PreconditionN/A Main flow
Post conditionThe multicast address set in step 3 is used for the metadata channel and will be effective for rebooted KreaTV IP-STB units. KreaTV IP-STB units that have not been rebooted after the change of metadata channel address will not get any metadata (and therefore also no data) until they are rebooted. This means that boxes that are not rebooted will not notice any changes in for example channel table or portal URLs. |
