Documentation Search

Search functionality in the documentation is implemented using a third-party search indexer called Perlfect. An install script is provided which will download, install and configure things for you. This can be found at <sdk_root>/doc/install_search

Requirements

A working HTTP server, with CGI support
Perl CGI.pm module (available from CPAN, if not already installed)
Internet access

Installing and Indexing

When you run the <sdk_root>/doc/install_search script, it will ask you for the URL to the documentation and CGI bin directories, as well as the path to these. The script requires write permissions to these locations. Once downloaded and installed, the Perlfect indexer is run. This can take a few minutes to complete. The 'install search' link in the documentation header will then be replaced by a search field.

Current search functionality is offered as a Technical Preview.
