kreatv-option-powermanagement_bcm15

This IIP allows configuration of the KreaTV Power Management service.

Parameters

Name Repeat Description Type Default Example
lowest_profile Once As an operator you are entitled to choose which the lowest power profile is for KreaTV.

Possible values are:

  • passive_standby
  • active_standby
  • lowest_possible
When using this value, the build system automatically chooses a suitable power profile based on the hardware model.
Enum lowest_possible lowest_profile=active_standby
network_recovery_timeout Once The time, in seconds, that the platform will wait for the network to become available when returning from passive standby before it transitions away from the passive standby power profile. If this time is reached and the network still isn't available, the platform will be restarted and the boot splash screen with the current error status is shown. If the given value is positive, it should be at least 12 to allow for network functions to be properly initialized. If the value is 0, the platform will not wait for network ready and continue to handle the process of resuming from passive standby. Hence, the application needs to subscribe to the appropriate Net Service events in order to resume any activities requiring network availability. If the Arris STB is WiFi-enabled and the software contains the package kreatv-option-wifi-plugin, the given timeout will, if positive, be increased with an additional 15 seconds. Valid range is 0 and {12,...} Integer 12
power_client_limit Once Denotes the maximum number of applications that can initiate a switch to a lower power profile. This parameter is only taken into consideration if the operator has received a power management license file.

Valid range is {0, ...}.

Integer 0
scheme Once Designates a power management scheme. PCoC is the only one currently supported.

Possible values are:

  • pcoc
  • auto
The build system automatically chooses a suitable scheme based on the hardware model.
Enum auto
