Boot IP-STB with USBKreaTV USB booting is introduced in KreaTV boot loader version 5.4.x. FAT32 support was introduced in KreaTV boot loader version 5.6.1. The kernel and splash must be located in the first partition of the USB disk. If no parition table exists the device is tried. External USB HUBs are not supported. If USB boot is specified in the kernel or splash order (7), the KreaTV boot loader will scan the USB ports for USB drives. If the KreaTV boot loader successfully mounts a USB driver it will search for kernel and splash file named with the following syntax: [bootcast id]-kernel and [bootcast id]-splash. E.g.: arris-vip2853-kernel and arris-vip2853-splash. Supported file system: FAT32 and EXT4. |
